Every company needs to optimize its processes. The goals here may include reducing overall costs, improving communication, optimizing capacity utilization, or reducing resource consumption.
Implementing new concepts is not something that business owners and employees need to shy away from. Rather, it is a matter of putting existing processes to the test. This is the only way to identify specific areas for optimization and achieve improvements for everyone involved.
IKOffice MoldManager and IKOffice LivingERP already support the optimization of business processes. Many of our customers also value the features of Process Gardening GmbH’s “Process Garden,” which allows them to store additional documentation there. To gain a better understanding of the work done by the Process Gardening team and to evaluate the capabilities of their software system in conjunction with IKOffice’s solutions, we, too, held a workshop to map out our workflows, interfaces, and responsibilities and to thoroughly analyze our day-to-day operations. This naturally leads to numerous ideas for improvement, which ultimately also benefit our customers who use this software combination.
IKOffice’s software solutions make it possible to integrate the functionalities of “Process Garden” to the extent that, for example, with the click of a button from the customer master, the corresponding workflow in Process Gardening can be opened to store additional free-form information there—information that is difficult to represent in an ERP system. By linking these two systems together, you achieve optimal knowledge transfer from the strictly structured ERP system to the company-wide “Process Garden,” ensuring that a highly efficient flow of information is routed throughout the entire company in a fully documented manner and can be reviewed at any time.
