Our participation in 𝗪𝗕𝗔-𝗝𝗮𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 was not only characterized by informative insights into the central topics of the WBA, but also provided valuable opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange. This event brought together experts, scientists, industry representatives and interested parties to discuss the latest developments, trends and challenges in tool and mold making.
Another highlight of our trip to Aachen was the subsequent 𝗘𝗶𝗣-𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗶𝘀𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗶𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴 in the evening. For the twentieth time now, the Machine Tool Laboratory WZL at RWTH Aachen University and the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT selected the best tool and mold making companies in the German-speaking world as part of the “Excellence in Production” competition. The award ceremony for “Toolmaking of the Year” took place on November 15, 2023 in the festive atmosphere of the Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall. A ten-member jury, consisting of representatives from science, federal politics, associations and industry, previously selected the twelve finalists, which were subjected to a detailed examination.
We are proud to count the finalists 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗺𝗯𝗛 and Primaform AG, Werkzeug- und Formenbau, CH-Thun to our clientele and congratulate all participants and winners, especially Primaform AG, on the well-deserved title of “Toolmaker of the Year 2023” in the category of internal WZB under 50 employees. Truly an outstanding achievement!
