Are you a computer scientist, mathematician, or engineer (B.Sc., M.Sc., Diplom, Magister), or do you have comparable practical experience and knowledge? Are you interested in software development and new technologies? You may even already have in-depth experience with:
- Relational databases, such as PostgreSQL,
- Persistence technologies, e.g., Hibernate
- Linux operating systems, such as Debian Linux
- Client-side development, e.g., using SWT?
Then join our team! As a Java Application Developer (m/f/d), you'll be involved in every phase of the development process: from the initial idea and design all the way through to full implementation.
- Optimization and continuous improvement of our Java-based software solutions
- Design and implementation of new products and applications
- Development of innovative software solutions for our target industries (tool and mold making, mass production)
- Maintenance and Further Development of Existing Java Applications
- Working with complex system environments and libraries
- Maintenance, optimization, and administration of databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Collaboration on interface development
- Degree in Computer Science / Training as an Application Developer / Comparable Qualification
- Experience in Java development
- The Joy of Programming
- In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL and Windows operating systems
- Basic understanding of networking
- A structured and responsible approach to work
- Reliability, Loyalty, and Motivation
- Communication skills in face-to-face interactions with customers
- Proficiency in German (native-level or equivalent to C1)
- Creating Bash scripts and performing deployments
- Administration of Windows and Linux Servers
- Support in the area of network technology, e.g., VPNs
